Fully automatic espresso machine by KitchenAid, model KF6, reference 5KES8556BSX in stainless steel, with a metal-clad housing. It grinds beans with a 7-setting metal grinder, extracts at 15 bar with ThermoCoil heating and offers 15 recipes —espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte macchiato, flat white and more— on a 2.4″ colour display, with one or two shots and adjustment of body, temperature (3 levels), volume and the order of milk and coffee. It stores up to 4 user profiles. Milk is drawn through a tube straight from the carton and heated or frothed automatically.
It is a bean-to-cup machine for anyone who wants a range of milk drinks without handling a portafilter. When comparing, look at the number of recipes, the milk system (a tube here, no container included), the removable bean hopper (270 g, it can be emptied to change coffee) and cleaning: it notifies when to clean or descale, purges the grinder between batches and has a milk-circuit cleaning programme. 2.2 l water tank, height-adjustable spout and removable drip tray. It measures 26 x 36.3 x 47.3 cm (w x h x d), weighs 12.7 kg and draws 1450 W at 220-240 V.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the three-year legal guarantee of conformity (Spanish RDL 1/2007).
