The De’Longhi Maestosa EPAM960.75.GLM is a bean-to-cup coffee machine with a silver metal body and a mirrored black glass front. It has two grinders and a dual bean hopper, so you can choose between two coffee varieties, and a tubeless system that keeps the amount of ground coffee left inside to a minimum. It makes 16 one-touch drinks from the 5-inch colour touch screen, which swivels to two positions, and serves two cups at once. The LatteCrema Hot system with a thermal jug froths milk, which can also be frothed manually, and a Mix carafe with stirrers is included for hot chocolate or cold foam. Two independent heating systems serve coffee and milk, with a 19 bar pump at 1550 W. It offers six user profiles, Bluetooth for the app, a 2.1 l water tank and an 18-dose grounds drawer.
When choosing a bean-to-cup coffee machine, look at the type of grinder and how many grind settings it offers, the pump pressure, the milk system (manual steam wand or automatic system with a jug or carafe), the number of programmable drinks and whether it can make two cups at once, as well as the capacity of the water tank, the bean container and the grounds drawer. It needs a 220-240 V socket and free space above it to refill the tank and the bean container; the brewing unit and the milk circuit should be cleaned as often as the manual says, and soft or filtered water spaces out descaling.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the three-year legal guarantee of conformity (Spanish RDL 1/2007).
