Compact air purifier by Dyson, model HushJet Purifier Compact HJ10 in a white and silver finish. It is intended for bedrooms, home offices and smaller rooms, where background noise matters as much as performance. It uses Dyson’s sealed filtration system, with a HEPA filter and activated carbon, so that fine particles stay inside the machine instead of leaking back into the room, and it also helps with household odours and gases. The automatic mode adjusts purification according to what the sensors detect, the on-unit display shows the air quality reading, and the MyDyson app allows schedules to be set and settings changed from a phone.
When choosing an air purifier it is worth comparing the clean air delivery rate (CADR) and the room size stated by the manufacturer, the type of filtration and the cost and frequency of replacement filters, the noise level in the quietest and the maximum mode, and the power draw in continuous use. To perform as stated it needs clear space around the air inlet and outlet grilles and a 220-240 V socket; the filter is replaced according to the schedule in the manual.
