Portafilter espresso machine by Lelit, model Bianca V3 PL162T. The coffee is dosed and tamped in the portafilter basket and the pump extracts it under pressure, so grind, dose and tamping stay in the hands of whoever makes the cup. It is intended for users who want to control extraction and texture milk with the steam wand, at home or in a small office.
When choosing, look at the portafilter diameter and whether the baskets are pressurised, the pump pressure and the type of heater, the water tank volume, the steam wand and the accessories supplied with the machine (tamper, jug, baskets). The appliance needs a 220-240 V socket, free space above it to refill the tank, and filtered or soft water to space out descaling.
