Compressor dehumidifier by Meaco, model MeacoDry Arete One 25L, with a built-in H13 HEPA filter that cleans the air while it dehumidifies. It extracts up to 17.53 L/day at 20 °C and 80 % humidity (10.73 L/day at 20 °C and 60 %) with a power draw of 267 W, and its 4.8 L tank comes out from either side with an integrated handle; it also supports continuous drainage through a 12.5 mm hose (not included) or an optional pump. It offers humidity control between 40 and 70 %, laundry mode, a night mode that turns the lights off and drops to the quietest speed, two fan speeds, child lock, auto-restart and a digital display. It uses R290 refrigerant, measures 618 x 366 x 272 mm, weighs 16 kg and has hidden castors.
When choosing a dehumidifier, compare extraction in real conditions (20 °C and 60 %), tank size, noise (40 and 42 dB(A) here) and whether continuous drainage is possible. It works between 5 and 35 °C, needs a 220-240 V socket and can stand flush against a wall. The dust filter is washable and the HEPA filter is replaced periodically; a charcoal filter is optional. The HEPA filter captures particles in the air passing through the unit; it does not replace ventilation and is not a medical treatment.
