The Pro-Elec PELL0059 is a compact 5,000 BTU/h portable air conditioner for small bedrooms, home offices and box rooms. It’s a straightforward, freestanding unit that needs no permanent installation, just a window or door gap for the exhaust hose to vent warm air outside.
Key features
- 5,000 BTU/h cooling — suited to smaller rooms where a full-size unit would be overkill.
- LED display and remote control — adjust settings from across the room without reaching for the unit itself.
- Automatic motorised swing louvres — spread cool air around the room instead of blowing in one fixed direction.
- Self-evaporating system — reduces how often the internal water tank needs emptying during cooling.
- Side carry handle — makes it easier to reposition the unit between rooms.

Good to know
The remote control needs 2x AAA batteries, which are not included. Keep doors and windows closed while the unit is running, and fit the exhaust hose to a window gap or vented panel for the best cooling results. Check the water tank periodically even with the self-evaporating system active, particularly in humid weather.
