The Smeg KLF04 in red builds on the classic KLF03 silhouette with variable temperature control, aimed at anyone who brews different teas or pour-over coffee and wants water at the right temperature rather than a straight boil every time.
Key features
- 7 temperature settings (50–100°C) — from delicate white and green teas through to a full rolling boil for black tea and French press.
- Keep-warm function — holds the selected temperature for up to 20 minutes after heating.
- 3000 W concealed element — Smeg’s fastest kettle platform, for quick heating even at lower target temperatures.
- 1.7 L / 7-cup capacity — enough for a full household round from a single fill.
- Soft-opening lid — a single press releases the lid with a controlled, gradual motion.
- Removable stainless steel limescale filter — clips free from the spout for rinsing.
- 360° cordless swivel base with cable tidy — lift and return from any angle, cord kept out of the way.

Good to know
Lower temperature settings are gentler on delicate green and white teas, reducing bitterness compared with pouring straight from a full boil. Descale periodically in hard-water areas to keep the temperature sensor accurate.
