Compact espresso machine by Italy’s La Pavoni, model New Domus Bar (reference LPCDMB02EU), with a stainless steel body and built-in grinder. It has a 0.25 l stainless steel boiler, a chromed brass brew group, a 15 bar vibration pump with pressure gauge, a 58 mm portafilter and a stainless steel steam and hot water wand. The grinder is conical, with 7 positions and micrometric adjustment, and a 130 g hopper.
It is a portafilter machine for anyone who wants to grind fresh without a separate grinder. When comparing, look at the boiler size (a single boiler for coffee and steam), the portafilter diameter and the space: it measures 30 x 25 x 37 cm (w x d x h) and weighs 10.5 kg. The removable tank holds 2.7 l with a level indicator and there is a passive cup warmer on top. Power 950 W, 220-240 V; this EU version has a Schuko (type F/E) plug.
