The Levoit Core 600S is the highest-airflow model in the Core series, with a 697 m³/h CADR that changes the air once an hour in up to 294 m² or twice an hour in 147 m². Air enters through a 360-degree intake and passes a three-layer filter: a pre-filter for lint and hair, a HEPA filter for fine particles such as pollen and dust, and an activated carbon layer for smoke and odours (replacement Core 600S-RF). The AirSight Plus sensor shows the PM2.5 reading and a colour ring on the top display, and auto mode adjusts the fan speed by itself. It connects over Wi-Fi to the VeSync app for schedules and filter-life tracking, and accepts Alexa or Google Assistant commands. In sleep mode noise drops to 26 dB and the display turns off. It measures 31.2 x 31.2 x 60 cm and has handles on both sides. 3-year legal guarantee (RDL 1/2007).
When choosing an air purifier, compare the clean air delivery rate (CADR) with the size of the room, the type of filters and how much and how often they cost to replace, the noise level at the speed you will use at night and, if fitted, the air-quality sensor with an auto mode. Place it on the floor or on stable furniture with free space around the air inlets and outlets, and replace the filters as the manufacturer or the unit itself indicates.
