The eufy Omni E28 combines three jobs in one unit: robot vacuum, robot mop and a portable cleaner that lifts out of the station to treat stains on sofas, rugs or upholstery. The robot vacuums at 20,000 Pa and mops with the HydroJet system, a roller mop that is rinsed 360 times per minute and presses on the floor with 1.5 kg. DuoSpiral brushes are designed to stop hair wrapping, and the CornerRover arm extends to reach edges and corners. In the station the mop is washed with clean water and dried with air at 35-50 °C, the dust bin empties into a 3 L bag that lasts around 75 days, and a 2.5 L clean-water tank supplies the mopping. 3-year legal guarantee (RDL 1/2007).
When choosing a robot vacuum, compare the navigation and mapping system, the suction power, the battery runtime against the size of the home, the type of brushes (rubber brushes tangle less with hair) and, if it mops, how the mop is wetted and cleaned. The charging dock needs a socket and free space at the sides and in front; self-emptying docks use bags or bins that need emptying or replacing, and mop-washing docks have clean and dirty water tanks that are refilled and emptied by hand.
