The Coway Airmega Mighty AP-1512HH is a compact air purifier with a circular front, here in a beige finish, for bedrooms, living rooms and offices of up to 109 m². Its clean air delivery rate is 421 m³/h, with three filtration stages: a washable pre-filter for coarse dust and hair, a deodorising filter for cooking odours, smoke and volatile compounds, and a HEPA filter for fine particles. A three-colour indicator shows air quality; in auto mode the fan changes speed with the reading and in eco mode it stops once the air has stayed clean for a while. It offers five airflow settings, a 1, 4 or 8-hour timer, a filter-change reminder, a panel lock and a switchable light. Noise ranges from 24.4 to 53.8 dB and consumption from 4.9 to 82 W. When choosing an air purifier, compare the clean air delivery rate (CADR) with the size of the room, the type of filters and how much and how often they cost to replace, the noise level at the speed you will use at night and, if fitted, the air-quality sensor with an auto mode.
