The Makita DRC200Z is a robot vacuum designed for commercial and industrial use: it cleans offices, shops or warehouses after the staff have left. It takes one or two 18V batteries from Makita’s LXT range, sold separately, and has a maintenance-free brushless motor. With two 5.0 Ah batteries it covers about 1,000 m² with the brush only (around 200 minutes) or about 500 m² with brush and suction; with 6.0 Ah batteries it runs for up to 230 minutes. Two travel modes are available, a pattern mode for open areas and a random mode for spaces with obstacles, and ultrasonic and bumper sensors help it avoid collisions and falls down stairs. The timer starts cleaning after 1, 3 or 5 hours, the remote control has a locator function and the dust container holds 2.5 litres. It measures 460 x 460 x 180 mm and weighs 6.5 kg without batteries.
This is a professional robot vacuum intended for offices, shops and warehouses, powered by the batteries of the brand’s tool platform. When choosing one, check the runtime with the batteries you already own, the dust container capacity, the navigation system and the area covered per charge. Batteries and charger are sold separately when the article code ends in Z; they are charged off the machine, and the dust container and filters are emptied and cleaned after each cycle with the machine switched off.
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the three-year legal guarantee of conformity (Spanish RDL 1/2007).
