Espresso machine by CHiATO, model coffeePLAY 5-in-1, which takes coffee beans, ground coffee and capsules compatible with Nespresso Original and NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto, each with its own adapter for the brewing drawer, plus a built-in milk system. It has a stainless steel conical burr grinder with 7 grind settings that grinds straight into the adapter, a 20 bar pump and a colour touchscreen with one-touch recipes: espresso, lungo, latte and milk foam.
It suits households that use several coffee formats and want a single machine. Drink volumes can be reprogrammed (coffee 25-250 ml; with milk, coffee 30-100 ml and milk 80-250 ml). Milk is drawn from a removable 0.35 l container with automatic rinsing; the water tank holds 1.6 l and the bean hopper is deliberately small (30 g) to grind little and fresh. It has a descaling reminder, a cleaning programme and a removable drip tray.
