Espresso machine by Meraki (Meraki Tech, developed with Timemore), second generation, combining grinder, brew group and steam wand in one unit. It has a dual boiler, so it can brew and steam at the same time, a commercial-type rotary pump, an espresso-specific Timemore grinder with 45 adjustment steps and two built-in scales: one weighs the dose under the grinder and the other the yield on the drip tray. It is operated from a touchscreen, with manual or automatic brewing and steaming and customisable recipes.
It suits anyone who wants a barista workflow without buying a separate grinder and scale. Compared with the first generation, Gen 2 adds the 45-step grinder (previously 30), a standard 58 mm E61-compatible portafilter and a redesigned shower screen. The manufacturer states it is ready in 3-4 minutes. It is 412 mm tall, 370 mm wide and 370 mm deep, so check the clearance under wall cabinets.
