Air purifier by Levoit, model Vital Pet Pro, in white, designed for homes with pets. Its pre-filter has a self-cleaning scraper that moves pet hair into a removable tray, followed by a HEPA filter and 140 g of activated carbon for odours. It has a CADR of 148 m³/h; according to Levoit it refreshes the air of up to 102 m² in one hour. PM2.5 and volatile organic compound sensors drive the automatic mode, and it is controlled from the VeSync app or with Alexa. It includes a chew-resistant cord, display lock and a 21 dB sleep mode.
When comparing purifiers, look at CADR against room size, the price and life of the filters (here the Vital Pet Pro-RF replacement, every 6-8 months according to the brand) and the noise. It needs clear space around the air inlet, and the hair tray should be emptied often. A purifier reduces particles and odours in the air; it does not replace ventilation and is not a medical treatment.
