The MOVA E40 Ultra (RLE21SE) is a white robot vacuum and mop with an all-in-one station. Its 90,000 rpm motor reaches 19,000 Pa of suction for carpets, tile grout and hard floors. The MaxiReach mop extends by up to 4 cm to reach corners and under low furniture, and the side brush has a rubber strip angled at 45° to keep hair from tangling. An ultrasonic sensor recognises carpets, lifts the mop and raises suction. The robot carries an 80 ml water tank with three flow levels. The station empties dust into a 3.2 L bag lasting up to 75 days, washes the mop pads using its clean (4.5 L) and dirty (4 L) water tanks and dries them with hot air. It is controlled from the app or with Alexa and Google Assistant.
When choosing a robot vacuum, compare the navigation and mapping system, the suction power, the battery runtime against the size of the home, the type of brushes (rubber brushes tangle less with hair) and, if it mops, how the mop is wetted and cleaned. The charging dock needs a socket and free space at the sides and in front; self-emptying docks use bags or bins that need emptying or replacing, and mop-washing docks have clean and dirty water tanks that are refilled and emptied by hand.
