Filter coffee maker by Norway’s Wilfa, model Performance Thermo (CM9B-T125), with a 1.25 l stainless steel thermal jug, about 10 cups. According to the manufacturer it keeps the water between 92 and 96 °C from the first to the last drop, and its pump fully empties the circuit at each brew so there is always clean water. It is approved by the ECBC (European Coffee Brewing Centre).
It suits anyone brewing filter coffee in quantity who wants to keep it hot without a hotplate. The water tank is removable and filled straight at the tap; the adjustable drip stop sets the flow according to the amount brewed and the filter basket lifts out for cleaning. A full jug takes 4-6 minutes; it has auto-off, supports single-cup brewing and measures 34 x 17 x 34.5 cm, weighing 5.5 kg. Power 1800 W. Supplied with a coffee scoop.
