The Meaco Pro MC14000RPRO is a portable air conditioner from the MeacoCool Pro series by British maker Meaco, rated at 14,000 BTU for living rooms, bedrooms or offices of up to 35 m². It draws 1,560 W, is rated energy class A and uses R290 refrigerant. It has four modes (cool, fan, dry and sleep), an airflow of 410 m³/h and can remove up to 1.8 litres of moisture per hour; the noise level starts at 51.5 dB. Sleep mode lowers the fan speed and dims the display. It can be run from the control panel, the supplied remote or the Meaco app, and has a 1 to 24 hour timer. It sits on castors, weighs 31 kg and measures 762 x 353 x 470 mm. A 1.8 m hose, a 170 cm standard window kit and a 4 m flexible window kit come in the box.
When choosing a portable air conditioner, compare the cooling capacity with the size of the room, the noise level, the energy efficiency, the dehumidifying and fan functions and the type of exhaust hose. It needs a window or opening for the hot-air hose with a suitable sealing kit, a nearby socket used without extension leads and free space around the grilles; condensed water is handled as the manual describes (evaporation, tank or continuous drainage).
The data shown comes from the documentation published by the manufacturer; in case of divergence the official datasheet prevails. The product is covered by the three-year legal guarantee of conformity (Spanish RDL 1/2007).
